Tricked Out Performance for Air Guns
Admit it–the kid in you is still in there, so why not unleash
him? It’s time to trick out your airgun. Add a little performance
to your air rifle, make your pistol an attention grabber, or just have
a bunch of fun shooting a tricked out airsoft rifle.
Perhaps all you need to do to your air rifle is top it off with an RWS
4-12 x 50 illuminated scope. The bigger profile
will give your rifle a professional look and will allow additional light
in your scope to help you stay zeroed in on your target. With the proper
accessory mount, you could add a laser for fun shooting, or maybe it’s
time to treat yourself to a Chronograph. A compensator and extra
rotary magazines are available for 850
Air Magnum users. It may be that you could
get more accuracy or velocity by trying some different pellet shapes.
Shooters of the Beretta
Cx4 Storm rifle seem to like the Walther
PS 22 point sight. It’s also stylish on a number of larger pistols like
the Desert Eagle.
Air pistols are easy
to trick out. There are different mounts, laser sights, point sights,
flashlights, and even grips that you can add to your air gun. Umarex
USA has an LED flashlight on their closeouts
page.
Smith & Wesson air revolver owners could change out barrels to go
shorter or longer while CP88
shooters might add a "competition" compensator to their
pistol. Wood grips are a nice touch. The easiest thing you can do to
make shooting more fun is to have some extra 8-shot
pellet magazines on-hand. If you
load them before you start shooting, you’ll have less down time
between mags. Adding a laser, like the new
Walther Shot Spot universal laser, to your air pistol is an easy addition and
gives the pistol a tactical look. Of course, there are kits available
that are already “tricked out”. Check out the popular Walther
NightHawk and Colt 1911 Tactical or the new
Beretta Px4 Storm Recon.
Tricked out airsoft guns are also cool. Some come with point sights,
front grips, flashlights, and carry straps. There are some spring
operated Walther airsoft guns that include a detachable compensator in the package
and Tactical Force offers an MP5- and M16-style gun that’s already
loaded up with tactical accessories.
No matter if you’re a young adult or an experienced shooter or if
your passion is air rifles, CO2 pistols, or airsoft guns, there’s
something out there that will appease the kid in you and impress your buddies. |
