| Hammerli 850 AirMagnum CO2 Air Rifle |
The Hammerli 850 is billed as the "fastest" CO2 air rifle available. I received one chambered in .177 caliber. The chronograph results for a variety of alloy and lead pellets (stats shown in the linked article) support the claim for the "fastest" production CO2 rifle available, well exceeding 760 fps with several pellets.
The AirMagnum is a bolt action air rifle with an automatic safety, eight shot rotary magazine, 24 inch rifled barrel, front and rear fiber optics sights, and an adjustable trigger. It is available in .177 or .22 calibers, and powered by CO2. In the following article, I review and test the gun in all important aspects.

| Hunting with a Ruger® Blackhawk Air Rifle |
The Ruger® Blackhawk Air Rifle features a synthetic, ambidextrous stock that is comfortable for both right and left-handed shooters. It is a great rifle for the small game hunter, and is available in two variations. For the purposes of testing, I received the more powerful of the two.
The following article is my account of my first day with the gun. I was able to test the Blackhawk in various pest control and hunting scenarios throughout the day. These are my thoughts on the overall performance of the gun.

"Engage your brain before touching any type of gun."
ALWAYS keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction and aim only at SAFE targets.
When shooting at a target for practice, be sure of your target and its surroundings. Make sure your target has a safe backstop, and think of what you might hit if the ammunition misses or goes through your intended target. Know the "danger distance" of the gun you are shooting. (how far the ammunition might travel) Discontinue the use of a backstop if the projectile rebounds or ricochets.
