The Best Airgun Pellet To Hunt With?
Hunting with an airgun is one of the most enjoyable pastimes that I have run across in the last decade or so. I have been an avid hunter since I was old enough to keep both ends of the rifle off the ground, but in the last several years, airguns have grabbed my attention as the tool of choice for my hunting forays.

Whenever you hunt with a firearm or airgun, one of the more important items you will need is a suitable round of ammunition for the gun of your choice. In airguns, this translates into a pellet.

In the following review, I compare three different categories of pellets to each other and describe the different scenarios which are best for each.

Review of the Ruger Explorer Youth Air Rifle
The Ruger Explorer Youth Air Rifle is designed specifically for youth shooters. Over the course of the last few days, I have had the distinct pleasure of testing out the rifle in a variety of scenarios to determine how effective the rifle is.

If you have a youth to teach air gun and regular gun safety to, this is probably the best one currently on the market to do so, especially for the low price point.

In the following article, I review the features and drawbacks of the rifle when used in different scenarios.

Oklahoma Invasion V Airsoft War Review
Airsoft War RecapOn May 1st and 2nd, 2010, nearly 500 men and women dressed in standard issue green or desert "tan" camo descended upon D-Day Adventure Park (home of the world's largest paintball game) in Wyandotte, Oklahoma for an ultra-realistic milsim ("military simulation") airsoft war. Most of the 740 acres of the D-Day complex were used for the simulation. Much like Operation Balldrop from a couple of months earlier, Umarex USA was a sponsor of the event and some of its employees armed with HK airsoft rifles also participated in the event. The following article recounts the events that took place.

Gun Safety  Product Spotlight
"Engage your brain before touching any type of gun."
Perform regular maintenance on your airgun to make sure that it remains safe for use.

NEVER attempt to reuse fired, damaged, or deformed pellets or BBs as they may lodge in the barrel. If an airgun is dropped, check to see that it works properly before using it again. If anything seems changed, like a shorter or weaker trigger pull, this may mean worn out or broken parts. Contact Umarex USA at any time for any safety assistance that you may require.
