Safety Notice to Consumers – May 2011
Umarex USA, Inc. has recently discovered a potential safety problem with the Browning 800 Magnum Air Pistol. These pistols have the potential to fire when the trigger is pulled with the safety in the “on” position or as the safety is moved from “on” to “off” and from “off” to “on”. You should stop using these air pistols immediately.
Therefore, if you own a Browning 800 Mag Air Pistol, please stop using it. Please return the air pistol for repair to:

Please note: The serial number is located on the left side of the barrel block on the pistol. If there is a “P” inscribed on the receiver tube on the left side of the gun just forward of the plastic endcap, then the air pistol has already been inspected and repaired.
