THE UMAREX EMBARK YOUTH AIR RIFLE

The Umarex Embark is the official air rifle for the Student Air Rifle Program. Design for the Embark was focused on creating a usable airgun that is good for building skills with younger target shooters. The Embark youth air rifle is a spring piston single-stroke break barrel airgun with an all-weather composite green stock. The stock is ambidextrous so left and right handed people can easily use it without modification. It also has a thumb hole stock and vented cheek piece for comfort and ease of use. The rifle shoots pellets out of its rifled barrel at 510 fps. The easily adjustable sights provide the ability to get the best accuracy possible. An automatic safety and a rubber recoil pad on the Embark improve usability. Here are some of the features that make the Embark an easy to use airgun for training and youth competition: Light weight Compact size Automatic safety Rubber recoil pad 11 mm dovetail rail Lightweight thumb hole stock Ambidextrous for left or right handed people Easily cocked break barrel system Trigger pull in the 5 pound range Grip ridges for easier handling Aiming is done by using the front sight that is integrated with the muzzle brake and the rear sight that is a molded, square notch. The rear sight includes micrometer adjustments for windage and elevation. Umarex sells these guns directly to the SAR Program.
