The Christmas shopping season has officially begun. Yes, it’s still well before Thanksgiving, but, and for logical reasons it is wise to get a jump on your Holiday shopping. No, this isn’t about the commercialization of one of the year's most revered days, but about budgeting so that you don’t miss one of your loved ones, and you are able to give exactly like you desire to your family and friends. Starting too late leads to blowing budgets and it leads to a huge wallop on your pocketbook that might feel a lot like buyer’s remorse at the end of the season.
Umarex is known as the King of Replicas. Many of our replica airguns are in fact, BB guns. We make BB guns in pistol and rifle form, so chances are we have one or two that you will fall in love with. In this installment of our Christmas buying guide series we will look at the Top 10 BB Guns for 2026 and hopefully, no one will get an eye put out. Follow along with us! Here they are in no particular order.
10. GLOCK 19 Gen 5
This version of the GLOCK 19 is brand new for 2026 and is set to replace the G19 Gen 3 standard action BB pistol. The Gen 3 version has been a best seller under the GLOCK license since it was introduced 6 years ago. The Gen 5 version makes all the visual and tactile changes that represent the characteristics of GLOCK’s Gen 5 styling. The most recognizable name in the firearms world is GLOCK. Umarex produces many officially licensed replicas, but the most popular version always works out to be the non-blowback action. The GLOCK 19 Gen 5 is fun, it’s affordable, it’s the right answer for so many people who want a solid, simple replica BB pistol.
9. Legends M712 “Broomhandle”
The M712 has been in the Umarex Catalog for years now. And for years the M712 has been on our bestseller list. It’s not an accident or wishful thinking, the Legends Series and in particular the M712 is cooler than the other side of the pillow. The M712 is officially the last version of the famed “broomhandle Mauser” C96. This meant the M712 took a drop-free box magazine and could be used in semi-auto or full-auto modes. This is exactly the kind of historical replica that we love to reproduce in BB gun form. We managed to create a CO2 powered select fire BB pistol with blowback action that looks AMAZING! Trust us, you need this BB gun in your life.
8. Umarex Brodax Revolver
Do you like the feeling of winning? We do, too. If there is one BB gun in our catalog that is the biggest win for consumers, the Brodax is it. Why? Simple. The Brodax takes the number one position on the Fun vs Cost matrix. For a lousy $40 you get an easy to handle double action/single action 10-shot revolver that comes with 3 magazines. Even when you add BB and CO2 to your cart, the price stays under $60. But wait, there’s more! If you would like to add a reflex sight to the top-strap, be our guest. We’ve got a nice, affordable reflex sight just for situations like this. Would you like to attach a laser or light to the Brodax? The Brodax delivers here as well. You can’t beat the value the Brodax brings to your pocket book and you can’t beat the fun factor it brings to your BB gun shooting repertoire.
7. Beretta M92A1 Full Auto Blowback BB Pistol
Beretta is the oldest gun manufacturer on the planet. Seriously, they have been in the business of making guns in Italy for over four hundred years. Fast forward to the modern era, and Beretta is arming police and militaries as well as discriminating citizens. One of the most popular handgun series under the Beretta name is the 90 series. Umarex has picked the 92A1 version as one of our licensed Beretta replicas. The M92A1 is a full sized replica, meaning that the barrel is nearly 5 inches long and a full size grip. Unlike the civilian M92A1, our replica is select fire capable. There’s a tiny switch on the right side of the slide and that is all it takes to engage full-auto fun. With 26 BBs on tap, the Beretta M92A1 is fun, looks amazing and has full blowback action for an extremely realistic BB gun experience.

6. Smith & Wesson M29 “Dirty Harry” Revolver
The second revolver on this list is a big deal. Seriously. Our officially licensed Smith & Wesson M29 is based on the huge 44 Magnum S&W that Clint Eastwood famously carried in his “Dirty Harry” movies. Complete with an 8 inch barrel, double or single action capability, swing out cylinder, and beautiful finish, this BB pistol is impressive, in all the right ways. While the BB shells are not .44 Magnum size, they are compatible with a couple other BB guns in our catalog. If you want a BB gun that will impress everyone, pick up this big Smith!
5. GLOCK 17 Gen 5 MOS
Airgun fans are asking for more and more features these days, especially in our licensed replica lines. One modern feature gaining more and more attention is the optic ready slide. With this in mind, we created the officially licensed GLOCK 17 Gen 5 MOS (Modular Optic System) CO2 powered blowback air pistol that comes with the Umarex RDS8 reflex sight. Packaging two products like this together helps keep the overall costs down for the consumer making it an even better deal. The RDS8 sight is super lightweight so it won’t interfere with the blowback action cycling.
4. Legends M3 Grease Gun
When it comes to big league BB gun fun, the Legends M3 Grease Gun is as big as it gets. Our M3 is a military replica based on the WWII developed .45 ACP powered sub-machine gun. The M3 came to be as a solution to both speed up production and reduce production cost from the labor intensive and extremely costly M1A1 “Tommie” gun. A noteworthy feature of the M3 is the Open Bolt firing mechanism, common to several SMGs of the time. Our M3 Grease Gun looks real, feels real, and functions, albeit via CO2, just like the original. WIth 60 BBs on tap, and two 12 gram CO2 Cartridges providing the locomotion, you can pull the trigger and let the BBs fly.
3. Colt SAA “Peacemaker” Single Action Revolver
The guns of the Old West always evoke warm responses from fans. The Single Action Army revolver is just as popular now as it was 140 years ago. In fact, it might very well be more popular now than it was in the late 1800’s. Simple and simply beautiful, the Colt SAA is a treat to shoot, even in BB gun form. One secret to the success of the SAA is design. In years past, everything was stylized. There were no ordinary, plain made things. If it was worth making, it was worth making in an aesthetically pleasing way. Another secret to the success of the SAA design is… Hollywood. Likely for the first reason, the Colt SAA became a star on the big screen in the hands of actors like John Wayne, Gary Cooper, Gabby Hayes, and Gregory Peck. When Umarex introduced the officially licensed Colt SAA several years ago, we were overwhelmed with orders for it. People wanted to customize it for their own cowboy cosplay outfits or even for theatrical prop pieces. Our Colt SAA remains popular to this day!
2. Ruger SR1911
The Ruger SR1911 is both new for 2026 and a top contender for our best BB guns of the year list. First of all, the Ruger SR1911 is not just another 1911. It is a bona fide looker with its blacked out finish and exposed stainless slide sides, flared magwell, and skeletonized hammer and trigger, this officially licensed replica screams to be loaded up and shot all day long. Secondly, with full blowback action, full size G10 style grips, and target style sights, you won’t want to put this air pistol down.
1. Marlin Lever Action
Yes, at long last the good old fashioned BB gun makes its way onto the list. With nothing needed except for .177 caliber BBs, the Marlin makes the best BB gun to give for Christmas in our catalog. Load up the BB reservoir with over 600 BBs actuate the bog loop lever and get to work knocking over tin cans. The officially licensed Marlin Lever Action is such a fun gun to shoot no matter how old you are.
