Without a doubt, the biggest news in the airgun world happened nine years ago and that was Umarex’s announcement that we had acquired licensing rights for the most universally recognized firearm manufacturer on the planet, GLOCK. One of the first officially licensed products to appear in the Umarex catalog was the G19 Gen 3 .177 caliber BB pistol.
In the last nine years we have introduced many .177 caliber GLOCK replicas and something around 20 various 6mm airsoft replicas. The demand was there, and you, our airgun fans were absolutely there for it. Now, in 2026 we are going back to the basics to update our most popular BB pistol with GLOCK’s Gen 5 stylistic and ergonomic features.
The GLOCK 19 Gen 5 is a standard action BB pistol. Standard action BB pistols do one thing really well, and that is shoot BBs with the most velocity possible from a short pistol barrel. Since there is no CO2 being diverted to operate a reciprocating slide, all of the CO2 released during a shot is directed to the BB. As such, non-blowback BB pistols are simple to operate and much more affordable to manufacture. This also means that they are much more affordable for you, the consumer.
New for the G19 Gen5 is a streamlined slide with rounded corners and two sections of vertical serrations consistent with GLOCK’s Gen 5 styling. On the grip you will find consistent and aggressive texturing without any finger grooves. With great grip feel and texture, the Gen 5 grip is the right grip for many more people.
The drop free stick magazine holds 15 steel .177 caliber BBs which, with a fresh 12 gram CO2 cartridge installed, will leave the muzzle at 425 FPS!
