Are you into handguns? Almost a silly question, but in all seriousness, if you are into handguns, you need to check out Umarex’s extensive line of BB replicas. Umarex has official licenses with several firearms manufacturers to produce replicas of their firearms. We can’t produce them all, but we do have a really awesome selection of these licensed items. Then there’s a few guns that fit into a classic category, we call Legends. But the question remains, what are the five airguns that need to be on your radio for 2026? Here ya go!
Smith & Wesson M29 with 8 Inch Barrel
First on the list is the Smith & Wesson M29 Double Action BB revolver with an 8 inch barrel. This air pistol is huge, mesmerizing, and fun. This big Smith was made popular in large part to its co-starring role in the Dirty Harry film franchise. In fact, this big six was in dozens of movies throughout the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. Aside from the movies, the M29 became a favorite for fans of the powerful .44 Magnum pistol cartridge. For obvious reasons, the S&W M29 became the stuff of legend and an object of desire. And like most such items, there’s a high price tag attached to the M29. To pick up the firearm version you will need to shell out at least $1,300.
Good news for BB gun fans– you can pick up our CO2 BB version for a measly $150.
P.08 “Luger” Toggle Action

Next on the list would be the P08 “Luger” toggle action BB pistol. This blowback action pistol actually uses a folding toggle on the top of the slide to actuate the blowback action. The P08 is one of the earliest auto-loading pistols and was used, famously, by the German army in both World War I and World War II. Beyond that, this pistol also found its way into war films and the hands of collectors across the country. Once again, this is a pistol that you will have to open your wallet and dig deep in order to own. Expect to pay over $1,000 for one in fair condition and up to $10,000 for one in excellent condition.
GLOCK 17 Gen 5 MOS

Moving on down the list to the third spot is the GLOCK 17 Gen 5 MOS .177 caliber blowback air pistol. While we’ve been making GLOCK replicas for several years but what makes this version special is that it is one of the first airgun replicas that comes with optic plates for mounting a pistol style optic on the airgun’s slide. This represents the latest in technology in play. This makes our GLOCK 17 Gen 5 MOS air pistol a ton of fun on the range or wherever you might show it off.
Beretta M92A1

Coming in at the number 4 Spot is the Beretta M92A1 Fully Automatic Blowback BB pistol. This air pistol is unique in that it can be shot in full-auto mode– something that not all that many air pistols do. Between this and its full blowback action, this heavyweight air pistol is incredibly realistic and incredibly fun. Like the other guns mentioned above, the Beretta 92 platform has had its moments in the sun on the silver screen, too. Bruce Willis famously carried one in the 1988 smash box office hit, Die Hard.
Colt Single Action Army

Last on this list but anything but last in our hearts is the Colt Single Action Army “Peacemaker” revolver. While this particular model is not exemplary of any one Colt produced, it is representative of the SAA as both the star of cinema and history. Cowboys on film and in reality wore this modern cartridge pistol on their hips. You see, the self-contained cartridge was a relatively new invention in the mid-1800’s. Compared to the old cap and ball design, the metallic cartridge was exponentially faster to reload. This led to the Colt SAA gaining the reputation of being a “Peacemaker”. https://www.umarexusa.com/bb-gun-pistols
