Now in Stock! The NitroJavelin is Here!

Umarex NitroJavelin Right Side

I know it’s Spring. Early Spring at that. Deer season is likely not on the forefront of your mind, but you and I both know how time flies. Even with the best of intentions, we still allow things to sneak up on us.  That said, if you are one of those folks who like to plan things out, and have been waiting for the NitroJavelin, the wait is over. The NitroJavelin is here!

Now air archery is nothing new for Umarex. We’ve been in this space for quite some time at this point. However with those legacy models you needed a way to fill the PCP tank. For most shooters this means buying an expensive electric high pressure pump. Or, if you were trying to save money, a high pressure hand pump.  The trade off for the cheaper hand pump is alluded to in its name– *hand” pump.  You save money, but spend elbow grease.

With the NitroJavelin, Umarex has changed the Pre-Charged Pneumatic game. Instead of being required to invest in a pump, simply install a NitroAir N2 cartridge into the port and you are good to go. This is the perfect solution for the outdoorsman who would like to get into air archery or PCP airgunning, but is put off by the sticker shock associated with the extra equipment needed to operate them.

The NitroAir cartridge contains 32 grams of nitrogen gas pressurized at 3,600 PSI. When combined with the NitroJavelin, you can take 12 full power shots before the cartridge gets below the 1,500 PSI regulator pressure. The NitroJavelin arrow with a 75 grain field point installed weighs in at 235 grains in total.  At this weight, the arrow will launch from the NitroJavelin at well over 400 FPS.

If you are in one of the areas where air archer deer hunting is permitted, the NitroJavelin is the ticket for you to get into the modern discipline of air archery hunting without breaking the bank.
